UK Status
Resident. A local species found in Britain as far north as central
Scotland. Scarce in Wales and Scotland.
Montgomeryshire Status
This species was first recorded in 2014 at Middletown in the east of
the county. This is only the 4th record for north Wales.

Gall feeder. Eggs laid on foodplant. Larva feeds within mine alongside
the Hymenoptera larva. Pupates in larval habitation. |
